How would you know? Mainstream dentistry doesn't acknowledge
this condition and it does not show up on xrays. I had 7
root canals and had all my wisdom teeth removed. None of my
root canals and my upper wisdom teeth did not develop NICO,
but my two lower wisdom teeth did. They were removed 30
years ago and I now suspect this may have contributed to the
sinus infections that I have had for as many years.

I had a bone scan done by an MRI here. My holistic physician
ordered it at my request and he told them that I had had a
cavitation and they were looking to see if it still existed.
The report that came back from the MRI indicated there could
be something there but it was not visible. Here's the quote
from the two MRI physicians who reviewed the bone scan.

"Non-specific mild dental changes worse on the right. The
findings are not suggestive of osteomyelitis in the mandible
but the possibility cannot be excluded on the basis of the
bone scan alone.

The only way to see this condition is with a cavitat scan. I
gave you the link to see tyhe 3d scan that occurs. Mine
clearly shows the bone marrow is destroyed in both lower
wisdom teeth sockets. It so happens that your comment that
