Anyway, if you believed in the possibility of Steve's personal
"miracle," why would you have complained about me challenging his
    claims?

There's a wide line between probable and possible. Just because I
believe in miracles does not mean that I believe in Internet lifts
    (sans video).

I wasn't complaining about your challenging Steve's claims,

Note Em's use of the word complaining versus the less confrontational
commenting. He's spoiling for a fight. Always. Not necessarily a bad
trait, but one that rubs me the wrong way. (Yes, I'm sure he cares.
    D'OH!)

An explanation, imo, shouldn't have been necessary.

Don't you think that is perhaps more to do with the fact that you are
constantly giving him the [censored], and have been so doing ever since he

I'm sure Em doesn't recognize the *just deserts* aspect of my

Bigfoot and Nessie conspired to pulverize the Twin Towers to DUST in a
controlled implosion. If you don't believe me then you can ask the
Easter Bunny or The Tooth Fairy. Right hand to God.

Seriously, and avoiding the blasphemy this time, people who discount
any possibility of the impossible are the ones you truly must watch
    out for, imo. Ymmv, obviously.

Curt, last workout I thought for the hell of it I would try doing some
    chins
with a 45 lb plate - I did 50 of them - with one arm. I'd post a video but
    can't be bothered.

    I am always, David

I lifted my entire gym off its foundation and threw it into orbit.
Then I leaped into outerspace and reentered the earth's atmosphere,
landed safely, and returned the gym - totally undamaged - to where I
    found it.

No video and the feat wasn't sanctioned by the USPF, so it's only a
    gym lift, but, hey.

Now Curt . . . are you sure you are not exaggerating just a little . . .I
really don't believe you returned the gyn TOTALLY undamaged to where you
found it. After all most gyms will not stand a heavy impact like that - plus
there is enormous heat when you re-enter the atmosphere - are you SURE your
gym was not damaged in any way?

Look, I don't care if you believe me or not. It's true. In the famous
words of some Internet idiot: "Why? Because I say so!"

(Okay, I forgot about the plumbing and so that's a complete wreck, but
other than that, well, the gym was completely undamaged. And, yes, I
protected the gym from the enormous heat of reentry using a psychic
bubble, of course. Pubmed doesn't cover it, but X-Men comics explains
    it all very nicely. Hth.)

See? That's what gives me the [censored] - you give me this totally implausible
story and THEN you tell me about the psychic bubble. That is not a given
these days as most people would not even think of that. (I would never want
to risk the plumbing - why does your gym need to connected to the plumbing?
Are you sure you aren't confusing a gym with a toilet?

No, David, it was the entire gym facility and NOT just a toilet that I
launched into orbit and then recovered and replaced without harm.
Well, the plumbing, yeah, but other than that...

Here, just to prove it to you, I did it again, but THIS time I picked
up the entire building AND the adjacent parking lot and pitched it all
into orbit. (Note the Starsky and Hutch car. Cooool!)

No Curt . . . I NEVER doubted you. I just doubted that you got your gym back
without damage - reentry into the atmosphere will ALWAYS cause damage UNLESS
you have the psychic bubble which you later said was the case. Now I
understand (of course 'the entire bldg' would follow the same principle.)

Well, I certainly didn't mean to be too harsh. I understand full well
how Internet lifts can be somewhat difficult to comprehend. Oh,
speaking of Internet lifts, did I tell you about the time Al Gore and
I teamed to actually LIFT the Internet? Two-man deadlift-style. Al can
    lift!

It's true. A rather funny story that I'll save for another day. Still
    recovering from reentry, you know.

(Think jet lag is bad? Whoo! Don't get me started.)
