Maybe Mr. Quick behaved foolishly.

In Janet Evans in her prime, he possessed the finest jewel that female distance swimming has even
seen. As such, he should have kept her behind glass and taken her out only to polish. Instead, maybe
he wanted to do some "cutting" on that unconventional stroke of hers. IF that's what happened ...
then silly him. He doesn't deserve mention as part of her illustrious career.

email from someone saying that was flase...and that he called the school to find out.....

I made web page on janet years ago, filled with stats and stuff....but this one guy wrote me saying
that she never graduated from there.....only "volunteered" as an asst. coach. do you have any
evidence that she is a graduate.....??? he even went as far to say that he called the school, and
claims she's not listed as a graduate. any help would be great.....

don't know what year. my guess is it was after 1994. i can try and find out.

thanks for anything at all that you can find out for me............when I get a few min. I'm going
to look back at my old swimming worlds, if I can dig them all up....I swear 1 issue had her on the
last page, under parting shots, holding her diploma.................thanks again...
