Does anyone know where to find a helmet like the one Jan Ullrich has in this picture?

I couldn't find it on Bianchi's website. Fanx

I think it is a rudy project helmet, who makes the regular team helmets.
can't wear it in a uscf event. it is not a safety helmet, just thin plastic for aero purpses.
Nothing on their website either.. any other ideas anyone?
you probably cant get it since its not safe(wont protect you) to use.like giro time trial helmets(lances)

These places sell time trial helmets not team bianchi but nice anyway.
i think this helmet is made by the "Laser" company. im not sure where to get them from but they r used by Mapei (last yr) and some others......Lotto-Domo i believe also use them
stay tuned....
He is using a Rudy Project TT helmet. Not legal in the USA.
The only legal helmet so far that looks like that is the Louis Garneu Prologue and Limar is coming out with some in a few weeks.
You can buy these type as I sell many of them but you cannot use them in racing in the USA as they offer no safety.
It is interesting that they all wear helmets in time trials now (beacause they have to) but the irony is that they are nothing more than a plastic shell which offers no safety protection. Since they are not safety standard aproved in most places most amateur riders will not be able to purchase them.
I do know that Lances TT helmets are custom made by aero gurus who just stick the Giro stickers on to conform to the contracts.
Note also the golf ball dimpled effect on Jan's hat. They actually reduce drag.
This site sells cat-like aero helmets that the euskaltel euskadi team. Who knows if you can order them in the US though? Oh well, it a site. Other cool stuff too.
