Looks very much like the Rotund Rostock Runner-Up has carte-blanche in Tell-Land with Vinokourov out of the picture now.

Doesn't sount opportune at all for Jan. I'd guess Vino was the pick to win it for the team while Jan road shotgun and prepped for the Tour. Now Vino's got a bump on his noggin and out of the race and off the bike for a few days. Vino's a class guy and it's sad to see happen. I wish him a speedy recovery.

Possible ligament damage in his shoulder too.

According to the team doctor and their Homepage he should be able to train again after a 2-3 days pause, but who knows...
