Hey dude
I'm sure J-Me still hears what's going on here, and i really don't
think you want to call his ass out here unless you want everything
about you right out in public. J-Me's palmares make yours look like a
joke, and he'd shred you verbally too.
You wouldn't be anonymous for long if he bothered to get [censored] at
you.
As for "The Blade", I couldn't give lees of a [censored] what you have to
say about him, but that's just me.

Your "do as I say, or I am going to out you" stuff is really silly. Either
say what you know or stop with the silly stuff.

Thanks for the link Carl. From the report and tape it looks pretty
clear to me.

What Bill said, yes. (and usually whatever Amit says, not)

We're not all self-employed carpenters like you Bill. Those of us with
real "workforce" jobs know the value of keeping anonymity. It has more
to do with not wanting my co-workers to know that I spend my days
calling you "Dumbass" and arguing over Lance Armstrong's favorite
pharmaceutical products. Dumbass.

Considering all the [censored] corporations etc. are doing to employees over
blogs and internets postings I agree with you. Our rights to free
speech and privacy are shrinking every day and that really bothers me,
so in general I understand why some people are doing it. It pisses me
off when people use their anonymity as a weapon to trash other people
though. I'm not sure there is a good solution to it, other than deal
with it on a case by case basis.

Dumbass,
"CONGRESS shall make no law...."
You still have free speech, even if your company fires you for it.
Just let me know when you get thrown in jail for it. Then we'll talk
about an abridgement of your Consitutional rights.

In general I agree with you on that. Most anon. posters really don't
bother me too much. I take it for what it is. CP on the other hand
occasionally gets to me because he claims to be/have been a big time
pro and likes to talk [censored] about the other pros out there. That would
be like Jose Canseco getting his book published anonymously. It's
pretty hard to defend yourself from someone, rebut their charges, or
examine their credibility when they stay anonymous.
How so? Unless you're like Kunich, the eternal mental Peter Pan, and
attack the messenger instead of the message, it makes no difference if
you know the precise identity of the sender. If you can rebut the
charge, rebut the charge. The author is irrelevant.

And, at this point, I'd like to suggest that everyone go back and read
the original post.
Find the actual charge. Find what needs rebutting. I don't see it.
What I see was an apparently excellent trool.

The ACLU seems to think there's a problem, but hey what do they know?

This thread is a perfect example of it. We've got the video to watch
and people still can't even beging to agree so when someone claiming to
be a pro, claims to have all this inside dirt, and uses the argument
that "I know because I'm there" it's tough to defend yourself if the
allegations aren't incident specific, and even if they are, as with
this video, there is still no agreement.
The SU stuff is a perfect example, a ton of those accusations get
ignored because the source is questionable. Those same accusations
coming from someone anonymous who was careful to present themselves as
reliable would hold a lot of weight, especially if they made one or two
right at the beginning. Then they would have credibility for
anonymously spreading nasty rumors that would be really tough to
disprove, especially when this source says "They're lying to cover it
up, trust me, I know I'm on the inside and I've been right before."
That's why in these cases I don't like it.

DA,
They aren't arguing that getting fired from your job for mental
mastrubation in RBR = violation of free speech.

Neither was I at this point, but the EFF has some serious concerns in
that area.

FBI's "National Security Letters" Threaten Online Speech and Privacy
But we're getting WAY OT. CP trolled me rather nicely.
I do agree with CP though that this whole incident was moronic,
especially on this day:
Fri, June 10 KidsPeace Bicycle Racing League Finals
Though the balance of everything I've seen at Fixed Gear Fever and
other places seems to indicate that Jame was the victim in this. He
could've handled it a lot better, but it looks to me like he was
screwed from the beginning given who was involved.
