Itchy Icebreaker

Been wearing mine all winter. Superb bit of kit. No itching or other
problems. Doesn't even get smelly!

It could be that you're allergic to wool or woollen products. My wife is
allergic for wool also. She gets very itchy and her skin will turn flaming
red. Don't think you can do anything about.

It's not just you: Roos finds wool itchy, and has defected from
Smartwool socks to Bridegdales because of the lower wool content, and
though she found my Rohan Merino tops not instantly uncomfortable she's
certainly not in any hurry to get anything similar herself.

You don't /trust/ marketing blurb, do you? ;-/

Here's the irony; my Smartwool socks are the most comfortable things
I've ever worn, which, along with the comments from the many satisfied
users of Icebreaker on various forums influenced my purchase.

I'm going to attempt to claim under the Icebreaker guarantee. If they
were less expensive, I'd take it on the chin and put it down to
experience.

No itching for me either.....just find that it stinks of wet sheep if it
gets rained on!....and takes ages to dry.

Sounds like an allergy to wool. It works well for me but, like Julie, I find
it's slow to dry.

If you're not happy with your Icebreaker, sell it to me! :-)
