  1. "Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in
England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But,
after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy
and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it
is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a
communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be
brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to
do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the peacemakers
for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works

Was the war the right thing to do no, but it would be a mistake to admit it
so. I want other countries scared [censored] now that we have done it. I want
want Iran and others to think twice about doing something. I say pull out

Israel does. Go in and get out and then go in and get out. You have to take
out the people doing it ie war and not just pure talk like Kerry.
No terrorists in the world is afraid of Kerry and if he wins then he must
show that he can kick ass. He might be like Bush who said that he was not
into country building before he was elected and then goes nation building.

People need to wake up to the fact that the highest levels of US
government were fully complicit in the 911 attacks. The evidence is
clear and overwhelming. It simply is not reported or disgust in the
corporate media and one must seek it out but it is there. When all
the facts and evidence is gathered one has to deny reality in order to
believe the fiction about 911 that most people believe. The sad thing
is most people simply do not know all the facts but I believe any
rational person who investigates will come to the only real
    conclusion.

The most comprehensive and detailed investigation to date on 911 can
be found in Mike Rupert's book Crossing the Rubicon. It is unmatched
in its accumulation of meticulously documented facts that totally
blows away the government fiction. I challenge anyone who does not
believe the truth about 911 to read it and then make their own
judgment after they have all the evidence.

  7. The original post talked about telling the people that they are under
attack. I didn't say anything about Iraq.

That doesn't make any sense. Admitting a mistake is statemanship, not

Bush and the rest of his incompetent cronies have built a house of cards
on lies. The real truth is oozing out plus the house of cards is
falling. Mark my word if Bush gets re-elected and the facts hit
mainstream press, you start to hear about impeachment and not for a
    misguided naughty blow job.

Then there is the poetic justice of letting Bush suffer for his
mismanagement of the economy and endangering of the American populace
that they are bound to find out about soon. Bush will not be able to
escape the consequences if he is still in the Whitehouse. You will
know where to find him :-)

you are an evil man, John Hanson. Too bad you have a gun and CCW
    license (reflects poorly on MN).

You're the member of the party of hate and loathing. The party that
would have a weak America. The party that has Chamberlain and
    Quisling types as their heroes.

i voted for nader in '00. i knew it was pointless this time so i chose
what i discerned as the lesser of two weevils.

that's not hate and loathing. take a look in the mirror. i wonder
about the "weak" america. and when i say that i do not say it to
support the dems (which you equate with me). but i also do not mean it
in a way to undermine the dems ability to protect this "great" nation
from terrorist (external) harm, just internal criminal harm (your gun
    issues).

A Nader supporter is even worse than Kerry or Gore.

It is hate and loathing when you call the President and Vice President
of this country the biggest terrorists. Were you able to get out and
burn any flags or spit on any veterans today?
