My team was swooped (word????) on Sunday at Miner's Rest doing the Club Teams Time Trial. The little bugger got our 2nd rider well and truly - like a wasp coming in for the sting. 🙁

I have heard the little buggers getting vocal in the trees lately. Canberra has it's regular swoopers and no doubt will do their best to "lock and load" next time I ride by.

That one near the Hawthorn Velodrome last year was a bugger... Aside from the boringness of riding in circles, I don't really enjoy being swooped more than once in a session....

If all bird nests are away from major roads, your birds are smarter than
Brisbane birds. We had a particularly anti-cyclist bird on Logan Rd last
year. Grrr.

that and they seem to be stealing mulch from the vege patch.

hope there arent too many around ashgrove/the gap, but judging by the amount of trees in close proximity to waterworks rd, im dreaming.

There's heaps. Lots of parkland, lots of nesting areas.
