The Nys-Wellens battle is already 3-2.

A rider to follow closely this season is Niels Albert. But that's no
suprise he a huge talent.

Is Lars Boom still participating in the crosses? The last weeks he was
quite in the picture at some road races.

Boom seemed to come on very strongly toward the latter part of last
season and had some good races in the elite class. How old is Albert?
Did he just move from juniors to U23 or U23 to elite?

Does anyone know what Franzoi is doing this year? He was at the front
all last year, but did a pretty big road season for Lampre and I
haven't seen him in any of the races this year.

Albert is born on 5 February 1986.
In his first year as espoir/U23, I believe he ended 5th at the WC2005.
This season he's still riding in the U23 category.

Thanks, I don't remember him even showing himself in the elite races
last year and now he seems better than everyone but Nijs and Wellens!
I thought it would be Aernouts among the younger Belgians who would
make the jump to the front of the elite ranks.
