    Or maybe this is fodder for some wild conspiracy theory that they knew

    There are, in fact, two TTs (plus the prologue), but no TTT.

    Clear? (TT) TT TT, but not TTT.

    It sounds like you really know what you are talking about. Maybe you should
    create a class that teaches cyclists how to properly execute team time
    trials.
