  1. Hi Guys and Girls in this newsgroup,

I've enjoyed reading the majority of threads over the past year and also
have thrown a few around myself with quite good results that have steered me
in the right direction, especially about the pannier bags a few months ago,
got a nice set or rear ortleibs for $200.....niiice!!

Anyway, My reason for this thread is the wish you all a Very Merry Xmas and
a Happy, safe cycling New Year, hope Santa brings you all some groovy bike
stuff, or even better, a New Bike!!
(I've been riding my Fuji Tourer now for 4months....my early xmas pressie to
    myself)

Take care these Holidays please guys as I want to keep reading your threads
    in 2005.

    Cheers & Beers

Hi Guys and Girls, .....niiice!!, ...Xmas, ...pressie, ...Cheers & Beers

Grow up, pal: you could say: I've appreciated this forum; good wishes and good riding for everyone next year.
Why do we want to talk and think (fink?) like dull children? " I saw the best minds of my generation destroyed ..." etc.

Ah, come on, someones simply wishing all of us well. I always believed wishing people well was illustrating a higher state of consciousness removed from purely selfish motives. C'mon floydy boy, get over yourself. :p

Instead of a pine tree in the loungeroom, we rig up lights on the bmx - similiar to this:

Anyway, to the readers of aus.bicycle/cycling forums, may your festive season be a happy & peaceful one.

On a more practical note - I have a Christmas lunch and a Christmas party to go to tomorrow. Following the thread on bike riding and random breathe testing, I will be riding to and from work. Should I ride the roadie (faster) or the MTB (more upright and hopefully able to contribute to a more upright alignment of rider)?

I also usually wear a suit (wot I wear during the day anyway) to these things as I have a theory that policemen are usually more polite and tolerant of drunks if they are wearing a suit and tie. So its 'drunk in a suit on a roadie' or 'drunk in a suit on the MTB'?

Maybe the suit coat and tie with a pair of knicks? No, that's almost certain to get me arrested. ;-)

    cheers,
    SteveA

(for those who do not have a sense of humour, the above is *mostly* tongue in cheek)

Does it play tunes and have flashing leds?

Went to dinner (Hi, just passing by) with the in-laws the other night
and young niece wore one of these (turned off) during the meal.

OH, do you do rabbit ears during Easter?
