  1. I just had to laugh :-)

This evening, while training four youngsters, a silver-grey 2-door
hatchback drew up while we were looking at junction priorities. The
chav in the back began looking threatening, mouthing obscenities at the
    trainees (dunno why).
He took umbrage at the way he was being looked at and tried to push his
way out of the car by pushing the seat in front, occupied by a female of
    the species.
The driver clearly didn't want to know and drove off with the chav
waving various fingers out of the back window.

No more was thought of it - except what a prime prat.

    Until...

Having left the training location and on the way home, I passed a
crumpled silver-grey hatchback embedded in a fence, with some pretty
    severe looking police in attendance.
The chav was sitting in the cop car.

    It made my day :-)

Doesn't mean that he's in trouble. Last year i found myself sitting in the
    back
of a police car while my details were checked durign a routine enquiry. I
    hadn't
    hit a fence though.

Also, "the chav" wasn't in control of the vehicle. No mention of the others
involved, I trust that they were on scene too? Or had they been carted away
    in an ambulance?

I spent tonight listening to a petrol head. Not a problem, but there was no
other conversation. I just knew not to mention bicycles. He reckoned he's
done 185mph on a motorway "Yeah, the A3 mate". I'm not going to bother
    mentioning that the A3 isn't a motorway.

Anyway, don't tell them the secret that the real motor is within.

Did he say it was in an XR3i?

I'm sure it did, but I would have been unable to resist the temptation
to stop, approach the police and say, "Excuse me, officer, but I'd like
to report a case of threatening behaviour."

Well he wasn't travelling on the wonderful First Great Western that you
    praise to high heaven ;-)

Tonight's train from Swansea which I was incarcerated in, arrived in
    Reading 58 minutes late.
The air conditioning wasn't workin in the driver's cab, so he took the
train up a branch line to reverse it, then changed cabs.

Then the train got stuck behind a stopping service.

And God didn't sort the catering either as that then closed down.

    Bah.
