  1. Well, yes, my derailer does need replacing......but, that isnt the problem
    with my chai skipping...

My smallest front, and 2 smallest back chain rings teeth look like "shark
    teeth".

My LBS does not carry chain rings.... but they do have cheep cassettes.

So, now comes the cost, $20 for the replacement of my cassette, $30 for
replacement of my small front chain ring, and also my derailer... $30

So, I have 2 options Replace the parts at $80, or Relplace bike...

I can get a new bike for about $250 ish.

    any suggestions?

    Micheal

  2. Buy a new or used bike and quit annoying us with your repair reports.

Yeah, especially hypocritical Christians. Such an easy target.

Why not? It's the $150 bike-shaped-toys that are dangerous. ;-)

My $250 bike (OK, so it was $280-some) has held up reasonably well for a few
years now. Rigid forks and all.

Your participation in many a flamefest in a.m-b is pretty [censored]
hypocritical for someone who considers themselves to be a Christian.

Huh? Obviously someone stuck in the dark ages who doesn't know the
meaning of hypocritical has managed to post to a.m-b.

Why do Christians pray for victory in war?

That one good enough for ya? I seem to remember the first commandment being
"Thou Shalt Not Kill". It didn't mention any extenuating circumstances like
    war...

Rev. Steve "you just can't kill for Jesus"

That's it? That's all you can come up with?

Explain to me why "christians" cannot participate in a flamefest?
Where is that written? It's only viewed as hypocritcal by christian
haters like yourself who cannot come up with anything else that would
    truly warrant the claim.

I personally don't know of any who have. I only know them to pray that
the war ends so lives are not lost. I hear them pray for people on both
    sides.

I have never killed anyone so I've I got that one covered. That's why
the Amish and other religious groups will not participate in war. There
are people who refuse to kill another human. Is that good enough for you?

    Quoted message said:

Rev. Steve "you just can't kill for Jesus"

But you asked why someone would think christianS were hypocritical. Not just
    you.
So, being that the primary commandment is "Thou shalt not kill", why are there
so many christians in the Army? And don't tell me they all joined up to wash
    uniforms....
If you are a true christian, then you should not even consider joining the
    army.

Doesn't mean that there aren't many who do. Even for you, that was weak ;-)
It only takes two for the statement "christians are hypocritical" to be
    absolutely true.

I'm just talking about you above. The hypocrisy of 99% of Christians is
so easy to point out I'm not going to bother. But if you really want me

That would a be question for them to answer since I was never in the Army,
and never in the military during war time. If you want to know why, then go
to the source since I'm not qualified to answer for anyone but myself.

Again, ask those who are in the Army and claim to be a true Christian.
That doesn't concern me in any way, shape or form. I served in the Navy.

Greg, your 100% correct. I've let those who oppose me with their
insults and derogatory remarks get the best of me and responded in
kind. I was all prepared to get all insulting with you, but I'm sitting
