Why do you want a tapered crank btw? IMO the isis/octalink interface is much better but unfortunately appears to be far less standard 😠

I think most manafacturers are moving away from it and some day soon they will be dead... jump on the wagon like i did and just get a new bottom bracket (usually for a fraction of the crank price).

I agree. Just about any splined crank is far superior to square tapered. I have been riding a splined XT for a couple of years now, and it has not gotten warped at the BB yet. I cant say the same for every other Crank I have ever had.
