kill for a Luna Pista or Tandem).

I like this one too.

A pista version wouldn't get dirty enough to need cleaning.

OK, it looks as if its only 'concept' is maybe the ultimate hour
record, so whats with the helmet that was painted to match? You design
a limited use single speed and you pair it with a helmet that isn't
the same concept at all? Or are ultimate aero helmets looking
different these days?

Just wondering. It does look cool. Not sure I would want to change
tires on the sucker, though.

faired recumbent.

That thing is a pure show bike, and nothing wrong with it. I think of it
as an imagination of where the Lotus-style "Superbike" trend might have
taken us.

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned this yet, but Indurain had an
similar fork without the fairing in front of the headset on a slightly
different version of the Pinarello Espada he rode for the hour record. At
the time it was legal for UCI. I heard nothing about why he didn't use it,
but I'm guessing it wasn't stable enough.

increase drag on the trailing part of the bicycle.

From a structural standpoint, the front wheel is now cantilevered via a
tortuous load path. Not the most efficient structurally and the front
end will be softer which will affect the handling.

Craig should stop doing this stuff and try to concentrate on what made
him successful in the first place, well made carbon frames. These
circus bikes are a distraction for him and the quality of his frames
has suffered as a result.
