I only thought of it because I saw dried cranberries in the shop the other
day, and was wondering what they would taste like. Then I remembered the
red fruit in some type of bread I've had before. And I was wondering if
they could be cranberries. I can't remember what the bread was.

Do you remember you or anyone else paying for it? Perhaps it was
stollen.

Becca, I ws referring to what might be on top of the bread with sliced
almonds; it might be pomegranate seeds. It is not something that one would
normally think would be used -- but it's a good bet as they have been quite
popular in the last few years.

Hmm. SO it appears. But the Farkleberry Cookies passed out by
KDKA Radio had red fruit pieces in them. I guess they weren't
using real farkleberries.
