    Is Bernard Hinault married? if so, when did he get married and with whom?

    Hinault is married - if I recall his wifes name is Martine and she's also a Breton like Hinault.

    Hinault married very young, if I recall correctly.

    yes he married Martine at 20 before to be well-known!

    Yes. There was an article on him in ProCycling last year. He became a pig farmer alongside working with ASO on the Tour. He has hasn't ridden his bike since 1986 until last year ! He is now setting up a clothing label and designing bike frames. His wife is a Juliet Binoche look-a-like... in other words "fit" !

    Juliet Binoche lookalike???

    I saw a photo of Hinault and his Mrs in procycling mag - when Hinault was celebrating his 50th birthday with Moser, Maartens, Thurau - and the photo of Hinaults wife was nothing like Juliet Binoche.
    Madame Hinault looked more like Jenny Longo (if Longo is your type???).

    He worked as a technical consultant for LOOK for a while...

    I miss his straight forward feisty personality. Can't believe it's been almost 24 years since he won his last tour.

    last i'd read the badger was selling the farm to concentrate on the cycling enterprises.

    And according to Stephen Roche (speaking last year), Hinaults in pretty good shape for the bike.
    Hianult won a charity retired TDF winners, bike race last year.
    Roche said that he (Hinault) was in good shape for a man retired for 22 years!
