  1. Just noticed that foska now do an Irn Bru cycling top. They still
haven't responded to my suggestion that they do a Black Sheep top as I
    refuse to advertise London Pride.

I don't like Foska tops. Why advertise and not get paid for it? They're a
    rip off too!

Fair enough. But I'd rather advertise something I enjoy than all the
corporate [censored] found on a typical team top.

I don't wear them either, but at least they're cheaper than Foska stuff?

And no-one actually likes Marmite or Irn Bru. Do they?

Hey! I resemble that remark. Marmite and cream cheese and margerine on
white bread. Food of the gods^H^H^H^Hfat. But still disgustingly good.

Some are, some aren't. There are plenty out there (Trek USPS for
example) with a similar 45 quid tag for a jersey.

Well, I can't speak for the Irn Bru lovers...

My entire household is partial to Marmite, including Felix the cat. If
I put a thin smear on his paw he'll sit contentedly and lick at it for
ages. It does seem to make him a bit thirsty though.

He's also a great fan of Boots malt extract with cod liver oil, as are
    the children.

I'm building a nice collection of Pearl Izumi Ben & Jerry tops and
socks. No problem with advertising their wonderful products ;-P

My cat goes /mental/ for Marmite. One day if I'm feeling cruel I
might put Marmite on a catnip treat to see if she explodes.

To be fair I do have a team cap that advertises Jelly Belly Beans. No
idea what the team is though.

Now, I can see these forming a layered system with the foska bones
jacket. Each layer removed would reveal a more visceral and less
cartoonish view of the body, until the final one that it.

Felix is indifferent to cheese, but a previous cat, Muffin, would kill
for a piece of cheddar. You could rummage around in the fridge and
nothing much would happen unless you happened to remove some cheese. If
you did this you would immediately hear the bang of the cat flap as
Muffin came tearing in from the garden. He'd then rear up on his hind
legs and try to swipe the cheese out of your hand because it was not
humanly possible to cut him a piece off in the required time.

One former cat was a very polite cat (don't ask for food, don't even
look at anything I'm eating) until the prawn crackers came out and she
would tear them from your fingers. Most cats I've had were very
affectionate about one of my herbal teas, probably the valerian in it. Not
as much to eat, more to cuddle up with it.

We bought some "cat grass", since our feline is partial to the ordinary
sort in the garden, sowed it in a propagator tray, and when it'd reached
a decent length took the top off the propagator in the expectation that
she'd use it as a snack tray. She doesn't - she uses it as a bed. :-)

I very much like the skeleton one, which isn't advertising either (aside
    from arguably fish suppers...)

The cat who (mostly) resides at TWFKAML's place - said creature being
called, somewhat prosaically, Cat - is also a Cheese Monster and will eat
practically anything as long as it is accompanied by Cheesey Comestibles.

I did wonder what effect the hi-viz skeleton jacket might have on
motorists. I'm not sure I want a petrified motorist behind me.

Marmite on hot toast is lovely, but even better is the Aussie Vegemite as it
    is less salty than Marmite.

I'm more concerned about what my Forensic Anthropology professor [1] will

All three of my feline rulers will kill for cheese. Waffles is also
particularly partial to slivers of smoked ham and smoked salmon. It is not
possible to eat a smoked salmon sandwich without Waffles ensuring she gets
some of it. A daily ritual in Chateau Simmons is Vernon having museli for
breakfast. Every morning, Francis sits patiently at his feet (he is a
refined cat of fine manners) and waits for Vernon to finish. Vernon leaves a
little milk in the bottom of the bowl. The bowl is then placed on the floor
where Francis drinks the last little bit of milk. The bowl is then placed in
the dishwasher for a seriously good clean ;-)

    Cheers, helen s
