That is because obesity in Africa is a sign of wealth and they eat
practically nothing but carbs. It was a big problem for me when I was in
Africa last spring. Although I could stand on losing another 20 lbs. I
couldn't find one of their beautiful one size fits all dresses that didn't
swim on me.
