Why did they bother putting corn starch in this product? I would have actually
been tempted to get it for a quick backup to keep around the house if it was
made the correct way. Stupid move on their part. Needless to say, I won't be
    buying.

INGREDIENTS: Cauliflower, Cream, Water, Sharp Cheddar Cheese
(Pasteurized Milk and Cream, Cheese Culture, Salt, Enymes, Annatto
Color), Green Onions, Corn Starch, Salt, Natural Flavors (Contains Dairy
Components), Toasted Garlic (Garlic, Soybean Oil), Onion Powder, Spices,
    Garlic Powder. CONTAINS: Dairy.

  3. Expensive buggers, case of 6 is $34.19. Four servings per package. Think
    I'll pass.

Aside from the cornstarch, at 5g total carbs per 1/2 cup serving and
the cost, I think I'll make my own! Those knowledgeable is low-carb
will know better -- those who fail to educate themselves are lawful
    prey. Knowledge is Power!

I think it's a great idea... nice to keep something around for when I
don't have time to make my own.

I like to make mashed cauli up in big batches, put it into
cheap-and-nasty disposable cups in single serves and freeze it. A
couple of minutes in the microwave and I've got a nice side, without
any of the funky other ingredients.

If I'm in the mood for soup (have been a lot lately - it's winter
here) I thin it down with some hot chicken stock, add a dollop of sour
cream and a sprinkle of nutmeg and I'm done.

Good idea, thanks. I'm always looking for things I can freeze. I cook
large pot roasts then divide them up and freeze. Maybe I should add the
mashed cauliflower and make a tv dinner of sorts.
