installing Team Manager & Meet Manager without CDrom

I bet the file is there, just hidden. Have a good look - you
might need to dig a bit.

Another way might be to just map the network drive,
install, run once, and it's done; then you can disconnect
from the network.

Hitek's response is, well, they would say that,
wouldn't they?

And yes, the software is clunky (at best) and has all sorts
of useless chrome.

Just manually copy the *.lic file(s) into the C:\HY-
SPORT\.... directory as appropriate. I don't know why it
doesn't copy that file during install. It's worked for me
in the past.

funny how you get two responses from Hy-Tek -
different folks -
#1 - Tom - read the user guide 2 - Charlie - here's how

Copy the swmeet.mem file from the CD and put it in c:\hy-sport\win-mm.
Then erase speclic.xyz that is in that folder.
Copy the tmii.lic file into c:\hy-sport\tm-ii and delete license.plt
from
the same folder.

...The license files cannot be installed by Install Shield
since the license file is an "external" file that is copied
custom to each CD. So the only way the program can know to
get a new license file off a CD is to know that a new
install occurred and that is the function of the *.xyz and
*.plt files.
