  1. Today I was 149.5 lbs, making it a total of 56 lbs lost so far! YES! I just
love it when I slip down into the next set of 10s, especially since it takes me
so long to do it (it's been almost 4 months since I slipped down into the 150s)1

  2. Wahoo, Saffire! Know what you mean about 'slipping down in the next set of
    10s.' Great going!

  3. That is wonderful! I've been noticing your "slide" down. Great. Great.
    Love your pics as well.

Whoo hoo!!!!! What a great milesone that is, passing the 150 mark!
It gives me more motivation to get off my butt (literally as well as
figuratively) and reach that 200-pound mark that's only 15 pounds away for
    me.

    Good Job!

You know, I hadn't thought of it that way (more in a "back to the 140's" frame of
mind) -- thanks for the extra boost! UNDER 150 -- YES! Yesterday I won $200 in
a contest via my GREAT ISP (Newsguy.com -- they have contests all the time).
    It's been a good 24 hours :-)

    Yea Saffire!

It is so exciting to "enter" the next set of "10".

    Great job!

  9. Great job Saffire. We hit 160 about the same time and I have hung here now
for that 4 months that you kept losing. I am excited to have been stable (I
have never lasted at 160 for more than a month, ever, let alone get below
it.) But you have motivated me to work on the last 20lbs. Keep up the good
    work.

    G'danya!

Funny how those 'landmark' weights mean so much, isn't it? I threw a
party when I went under 250. The next biggie or rather not-so-biggie is
    200. My wife and I will celebrate with a visit to our favorite steak
    place.

Count yourself among those of us whose weight loss is, in my wife's words,
'slow but inevitable' ;-) After the first few months of rapid loss, I've
been losing around 2-3 pounds a month with only the occasional stall. I
only weigh every few months and count on my old belt -now with many
holes in it - to keep me on track.

oh I am SOO excited for you (and tad bit jealous!) You are doing sooo
awesome. I have had a rough July (up 4 lbs) but I sure did enjoy the
    party. 😉

Glad you had a good time! You've been maintaining for a long time, and you've
gone lower in the past, so it's only a matter of time for YOU, too!

Yay, Saffire! You only have 2-1/2 more sets of 10 to go! :-D
