Honestly? No. Pre really was a miserable lil premadonna. A coward who
was afraid to lose, so he quit.
Nikes weren't always [censored], only when they went to being designer [censored].
Even now it still offers some halfway decent shoes for "little guys",
but why someone would pay 30% more for a stupid swoosh, instead of
buying a better shoe for far less, beats me. They are priced according
to their advertising budhet, not what it cost to make the shoe.
