IM Canada registration?

is there anybody at all who is doing, or watching, the
ironman canada 2004 that would be willing to sign me up for
the 2005 race?

i'd be willing to throw in $100 (USD) along with a very big
thank you.

Are you saying that IMC fills up BEFORE online
registration begins?

i'm pretty sure there is no online registration for general
admission.

you have to be there the day after the race, stand in line,
and registrer on the spot.

In years past, online registration is only for the 100 (or
so) remaining lottery slots. So the only way to guarantee a
spot is to wait in line -- the morning after race day, or be
fast enough at a qualifying race.

According to the IMC web site, on line registration opens on
the Tuesday following the race, and closes two weeks later.
Any slots left over from the in person registration go into
the online lottery.

So the answer is yes, It could happen that there are
no slots for the online lottery. Last year, there were
150 slots.
