  1. And no that's not just a song I'm singing--I'm actually excited. Let me start from about a month ago
(a little farther back I guess). I joined Curves in May 2003 and went faithfully for the month of
May and most of June. Then summer hit and being a school employee I decided to take the summer off,
from everything! When I went back in September and weighed in I had not only gained what I had lost
in the short month and a half that I had worked out but I had also gained an additional 5 pounds.
Well, I worked out in September a couple of times, not many and I went in for my October weigh in--I
was down 1 whole pound (not great but not up!!). I didn't go in for the entire month of October
except my weigh in day so I just knew it was going to be bad in November when I weighed in--I was
down 2 more pounds (it was a miricle)!! Last week I started Richard Simmons Foodmover and stuck
    mostly to the program--not perfect but I did well--and I exercised 2 days--better than none!! I
decided to weigh today even though it's not my official day to do so and I found I was down another
1.5 pounds--I can't believe it. I've now lost 4.5 of the 5 pounds I put on over the summer!! I'm so
excited over a very little progress, but it's progress!!

Well, thank you for letting me share the whole story of my excitement with you!! I'm going to weigh
myself every week so that I can post as I lose or get help if, god forbid, I gain!!

this long to my hips?! LOL) I was 231 when I left, and now I'm still struggling to stay below 240

  16. You'll do it Kristin!! One of the things I've learned is how to exercise. I go to Curves and
they teach you that to add resistance you need to work faster on the machines--that's wrong
(according to a medical study). If you work slower it actually causes your muscles to "resist"
and enlongate causing them to burn fat better--that's what I started doing and the weight
    started coming off faster.

I loaned it to my sister so she could copy some of the recipes. She still
