What are you taking? I want some of your drugs! The whole Sh!tmano
SRAM debate over the past three months has been about that issue. Check
out Rapid Rise or Low Normal in your google group searches. I think
there may have even been one a week ago.

Anyway, welcome to the world of Sh!tmano deciding which way toilets
should flush.

Baahahahhaa, another victim of Shimcrapo Low-Normal.

Pretty much none of us well-entrenched riders like it, but it's relatively
easy to adapt to. By no means is it preferable.

By the way, it's a difference in most of the new XT and XTR derailleurs, not
the shifter. It can be easily switched as a result.

i was out of town on business and there was a norba crit, and i had
some extra time, so i entered with a rented bike - a Haro R7. Low and
fn behold the fn shifter go the opposite way. so ther i am racing and
intending to downshift for a climb and gdamnit i upshift at exactly the
wrong time. who the fkc knew shimano would be so gd stupid
