  1. Hey, um, I haven't been to these forums in a long, long time. For
    whoever remembers me, hi!

Yesterday there was an event at our local bookstore, and it was a
presentation and book signing from Lars Clausen, he is the man who
unicycled across america, through all 50 states, and broke the record
for longest distance traveled on a unicycle, which is 9,136 miles i
think. Obviously, I brought my own unicycle and he saw me and thought it
was cool that i also rode, so we talked alot and got to know each other
and took a small ride around town together. He's really a cool guy. He
and his family are going on a tour now, I think. His webpage is
www.onewheel.org which is also where you can order his book and stuff.
Here's a picture my mom took of us riding together [he had a coker....
    with handlebars :p)

  4. Very cool photo, and neat that you got a chance to ride around a bit
with him. We got to meet him earlier on his book tour when he came
through Seattle area. I'm still stunned by how many miles he's
    logged...

  5. That's cool Jax

On a sidenote, looking at your pic, your seat is way too low, do you
have it like this on purpose? If not, try raising it a little, maybe an
inch or two. You will be more comfortable and have a lot more control
(in theory, to each his own, of course)

    Just a thought

Yeah, I have it on the low side on purpose because it seems to make me
    jump a lot higher. 🙂
