  1. I had my usual flax/hazelnut/protein powder cereal earlier today. A
couple of hours later I started cooking up some bacon bits and pieces to
collect the fat for cooking. As I fished out the cooked pieces of meat
and fat, I would nibble on them. I nibbled quite a lot (mostly the
fatty parts) over the course of the several hours it took to cook it
all. Now it's 10:30pm and I'm STILL feeling full. I was very thirsty
from the excessive sodium, so I had a lot to drink, but I'm still quite
surprised at how VERY full I feel (and I haven't had any bacon for about
3 hours now). I've never tried the Fat Fast, but if I ever feel a need
to do so, I think I could probably do it.

Interesting story. I'm curious about the details though - how much
bacon bits do you think you've eaten and roughly how many calories do
    you think you have eaten?

Not sure -- I counted them as 10 pieces, although it could have been as
many as 15. Normally I'm quite strict about weighing, etc., but not
this time :-) All told I had about 1500-1600 calories and 20 carbs for
    the day.

    Wow 1500-1600 calories, that's pretty good !!!

I was thinking over it again, I think the water must have helped a lot
    in bloating you up...

Probably -- I think I was soaking it up like a sponge :-) I was also
experiencing PMS, so it's been a double-whammy as far as water retention
goes. Might as well get it all over with at once :-)

telling anybody. Good job. New pictures?

Funny how nobody ever takes a picture of what they had
    lost🙂

I don't know...my before and after pictures render quite a
vivid picture for me about what I've lost :-)

Once while in the grocery store I started handing my
children 10 lb bags of sugar for them to hold to illustrate
how much weight I had lost. While they've always
appreciated the change in my appearance, until that time
they never realized how much 100 lbs really was.
