  2. The Time to see Deep Purple was 32 years ago. Without Blackmore, these
    guys are a lounge act.

Tonight, my wife and daughters are off "enjoying" a Deep Purple concert.

My wife and daughter have just booked to see Anastacia and I`m also getting
old. I don`t run so much as stagger with a limp as I`ve done something to my
right heel. Anyway I don`t care cos I`m off to see The Quo tonight ! Yippeee

I don't think anyone ever "enjoyed" a Deep Purple concert.

  5. EIGHT IRON

Off the seventh tee, Joe sliced his shot deep into a wooded ravine. He
took his eight iron and clambered down the embankment in search of his
    lost ball.
After many long minutes of hacking at the underbrush, he spotted
something glistening in the leaves. As he drew nearer, he discovered
that it was an eight iron in hands of a skeleton!
Joe immediately called out to his friend, "Jack, I've got trouble down
    here!"
"What's the matter?" Jack asked from the edge of the ravine.
"Bring me my wedge," Joe shouted. "You can't get out of here with an
    eight iron!"

Joe, please hold her for me.
    Back later. Many thx.

    You mean the
    Juice of eleven lemons?
    Or the Ever Lovin Spoonful?
    [PS. I confess, I abused
    Leon.
    Here's what I did:
A slice of lemon I would
    Give him, suggesting to him
    This lemon was a treat.
    Leon trusted me so much,
He'd happily dart over that lemon
Peel on the floor, eagerly bite
It up ~ and then ~
    O know!
    He said to me ~
    And frown wickedly...
    The spit it out.

I had a cool mutt one time, and he trusted me so much I would take a rubber
grape off of the table and put it in my mouth, upon removal I'd toss it to him
and he'd greedily chew and swallow it down.

You're getting old?!?! Imagine Deep Purple then :->

They were in their 50's when I was a kid, they gotta be like 90 by
now. Imagine Kid Rock doing his stuff when he's like 60? 60 YO and
stuck with a name like Kid Rock...

Oh please, don't even compare the two. Deep Purple are one of the father of
metal. Kid Rock is a hack without an ounce of talent.

I still try and see Deep Purple every time they tour; it's a great show. The
time before their last tour, they played with Emerson, Lake & Palmer and
Dream Theater. Talk about dinosaur tour.... ; )

Definitely feeling old here now, had to google that one :o(

There's a mosh pit at almost evert show I go to. There was even one for
KMFDM last night, which suprised me. It was a great show.

The pit for the Cannibal Corpse/Napalm Death/Katyklysym/Goatwhore/Macabre
show lasy week here was insane. It's a right of passage for young
metalheads. I stay away. But, if you're a metal band and there's no pit,
that could be a sign of lameness.

Kid Rock?? LOL!! Oh, that's funny. That's like comparing Black Sabbath to
    Britney Spears. ; )

I listen to a lot of younger bands who owe their influences on pre-metal
warriors like Deep Purple and Black Sabbath. Kid rock is schlocky mall pop.
It's [censored] for the homoginized masses with no originality, musical talent or
    integrity.

Give me Burzum, Gorgoroth, Exodus or Morbid Angel or any real metal band any
    day of the week.

Yeah, tell that to his 5mill a performance. He is the man. He does as he
    pleases, like it or not.

    No talent hacks.
