I'm excited...

I bought a Torker LX and then bought a Summit. It was very different.

First off it looks wild with its huge tire. And it is MUCH heavier.
It will feel very smooth because its heavier and the thicker tire rolls
over small bumps. I believe the pedals feel wider. I'm not sure. The
cranks are definately shorter so its a little bit slower.

The Torker feels like a sportscar in comparison to the Summit. Light,
fast. 🙂 But I ride my summit more.

Initially the weight will feel like its preventing you from jumping, but
after you do some trials with the Summit (with lower tire pressure. much
lower than you think you need) then the Torker will feel stiff. You
won't get any bounce from the Torker's tire.

I found no difference in doing stuff like one footing. There was no
transition period for me. One thing that is different is that the Torker
flat crown is much higher than the Summit.

I can't think of anything else. I have not done too much trials because
the summit came with a Viscount and I haven't bought a seat with a
handle yet.

I heard it was quite heavier in comparison, but you do get used to it
right?

I think I talked to you before about this. I bought it from an NSLBS
(not so local bike shop) over the net. I waiting for a reply about
another one in California, so if there's any return on that one I'll
contact you.

If anyone else has anything to relate in regards to switching unicycles
please share.
