I am working with someone professionally who has just taken up bicycle
commuting. He writes in a recent email:
---
I'm commuting from Bainbridge Island. I'm up at the northern end and it's a
little over 7 miles to and from the ferry. Yes, I've slept well these past
few nights.
I have to admit that I'm not a stylistic nor sophisticated biker. I spit, I
sing out loud (and poorly) to make the riding go by faster, wear cotton
clothing, Feel like I'm in a Lamaz clas when I breathe, my face turns bright
red from the exertion, and I look absolutely wiped out when I finally get to
my destination. 4 people commented yesterday at the elevator how tired I
look.
Other than that, I think biking to work is the COOLEST thing.

I just loved this. Isn't great to discover something new? Don't you wish you
were just taking up bicycle commuting again?
