It's a real problem, no question. My newsreader has the
ability to screen postings based on certain things
appearing in the body of the post, but it runs so slowly if
I do that that I don't ever use the feature. It's really
too bad, because if I could screen out all the postings
with "Jan the Accuser" in them, it'd cut my queue of unread
messages quite a bit.

Most of the traffic - for years now - consists of or deals
with the insanitiy of Jan Drew.

As Jan Drew is a danger for unknowing persons, everybody
must be warned.

I try to cherry pick by posting title as I consider a
waste of time to download all of this groups postings.
I've considering blocking most of the participates on this
forum to see if something would be left over. After
considering it, I came to the conclusion I'd only be left
with Todd Gastaldo. As his postings don't seem to draw
many trolls because I suspect they've blocked him. If I
were to block the first on my list for blocking would be
Joel M. Eichen, DDS.

So what's stopping you? Joel Eichen is in my killfile,
along with Jan Drew, Aribert Deckers, John Bain,
"ironjustice," and Todd Gastaldo (you're right, the dearth
of people answering him is not an accident, it's deliberate
-- if you answer him, he just posts more -- which is also
true of Jan, but nobody seems to have the good sense to
stop answering her).
