  1. Hey all - new and old "faces":o)

I started my new way of life on January first and I lost 7
lbs in about 7 weeks - just in time for Valentines day and
the 6 month anniversary with my boyfriend. My goal at the
time was to lose 10 lbs, to get to goal weight. But after
    V-day I started a 2 month-binge-marathon. I gained it all
back plus 2 lbs. I can't explain exactly why I did this, as
I have been very succesful in weightloss before. I lost 50
lbs 3 years ago and kept it off for 2 years no problem. But
then I ran into a depression, I quit smoking for a while and
finally I met a wonderful man who enjoys good eating and
drinking as much as I do, and being completely comfortable
with him and no longer having to a be a Barbie on the dating-
market, made me gain 20 lbs since my lowest weight (which by
the way was anorexic-low). I don't want to lose all those 20
lbs again, as I do want to look like a woman! But 10 lbs
    would be nice;o)

So I started last week, and have lost two lbs so far. Ok - 8
lbs to go. My "deadline" is June 24th where my boyfriend and
I will be heading to Egypt on a great summer vacation. (I
live in Northern Europe, so it is not that far;o).

So far, I am doing OK. I have to watch what I eat at dinner-
time, and stop taking seconds and maybe just filling my
place half of what I am used to.

I lost the first 2 lbs quickly because I completely stopped
the WAY bad eating I had been used to: Danish for breakfast,
chocolate-chip cookes for snacks, chips almost daily, and
just eating what I wanted, whenever I wanted, not really
    giving a [beep].

But I want to be nice-looking again. And that is why I am
once again turning to you guys. Back then, there was a
problem with my newsserver, which caused my posts not to
show up in the group, thus I could not participate. I think
that had some to do with my sudden lack of responsibility
    and accountability.

My motto is: I know I can do this. I have done this before
and I can do it again. (How come it is harder to lose the
last 10 lbs, than it is to lose the 50 lbs???)

  2. Welcome back Mette!! Congratulations on coming back before
too long!! You can do it!!

  5. Hi Mette welcome back. The small amounts are harder to loss
because the pressure from health and wanting to look better
are less. You know what needs to be done, no do it. Try to
plan in some of the things you crave/ really like so you
don't feel deprived and want to give up. Good luck Michelle
