IME *nost* of the interesting hills, and more so the interesting valleys
are without mobile coverage.
There is usually coverage on the *tops* of the hills, so use your phone
while eating dinner there.

IME *nost* of the interesting hills, and more so the interesting valleys

There is usually coverage on the *tops* of the hills, so use your phone
while eating dinner there.

My moby is switched off when out walking, but we were in the George one
Sunday when a group of walkers came in, with one of their number in an
exhausted state. They had friends who were due to pick them up, but
couldn't get a mobile signal, and had to trudge to the pub and beg the
use of their phone.

The tenants weren't too happy about not being able to use their mobiles
locally, either.

A mast on every hilltop, protected by a cairn covered in razor wire
around the base is the only answer. ;-)

Of course, a properly paved path would be essential, to get folk within
range. Is this to much to ask?

Not where I'll be. I could make a trip to one, but there won't be
anything readily available. It's one of those things that I can manage
without - like Sky (as opposed to sky, which is far more important!).
