I went off the side of the rollers the other day, bunny hopped a couple of times and clipped out and
managed to put my foot down.
I can confirm without a doubt that calculated heart rate is complete bologna.
It did cause me to think; if my heart rate could actually go that high maybe I wasn't training
properly. Is it reasonable to conclude that I should be able to reach that heart rate through effort
(or do I have to scare the [censored] out of myself for 20+ minutes straight to benefit?)?
BTW: Roller training four days a week, anything over 40 or so minutes no matter how much position
changing I get numb hands. Never when on the road. I don't think you support your upper body weight
with your back as much on the rollers. I find early season rides on the road my back is sore.

Quoted message said:Interesting. I also feel strain in my neck and back a bit. I wrecked on the trainer yesterday, so
I am not sure if my neck pain is from the fall
or
Quoted message said:not. I kind of messed up.
Thanks for the input. You would think there would be a site or some
reading
Quoted message said:material that would go over...if you are having pain here you could try
and
Quoted message said:move or adjust this on your bike. It only seem logical that this information would be written
somewhere.

what
Quoted message said:I
Quoted message said:have put it down to is than you tend not to change position on the bars
as
Quoted message said:much while static i.e.. changing gear, breaking etc and your weight
remains
Quoted message said:static. you can also get it from the saddle ouch. "curt" <[email hidden]> wrote in message
