  1. Does anyone know of a site with pictures of hub cones? I would like to be
able to compare campy, shimano, joytech, suzue, sansin and maillard
    rear cones.

    thank you,
    kw

The QBP catalog is good for some:

Take a look at the Wheels Manufacturing selection in particular. They
make replacement cones for many hubs.

Why not walk into a bike shop with caliper to compare them?

There is no local bike shop unless you count Walmart. I need to do it via
    internet.

The sjscycles page is excellent, just the kind of pictures I'm looking for.

I am aware of Wheels Manufacturing. I have their pdf catalog but it only
has diagrams of cones. The dimensions are helpful but not as useful to me
as a picture. Sheldon's site seems to be unavailable to me at this time. I
    will try again later.

    thanks,

I think the Geek-O-Meter has just bent its needle around the peg.

I mean that in a good way.

    Sort of.

Okay, I look at the insides of vacuum tubes, so there.

Really, they're fascinating when you know what you're looking at.

Well I already have a life.

More time around women would be good, I'm sure.
