OB ARBR content: As an experiment, I tried to cause interference for my Polar HRM, putting it within
a few feet of a computer and monitor, near an operating microwave, and within arms length of another
operating HRM transmitter (not all at the same time). As long as the receiver was within about 2.5
feet of my trasmitter, it functioned correctly.

Machines at my health club, like the Stairmaster, routinely interfer with my Polar wrist monitor.
Forunately I am now on new machines that automatically pick up the signal from the chest sensor so
that I no longer need to wear the wrist monitor.
