rounds here. RBR has always been about the manhunters, obessions with
hammering Lemon, Lance, Tyler and what's his name, ah, Amish guy, Floyd,
there you go. Not much interest here other then the manhunters and those
that enjoy hammering each other. I guess if the women pro riders became
popular here, they'd get hammered too.
Hey Bruce, You'll like this story... Kim Anderson (High Road) is living
here in SB now and doing some good training with bf AO, but today she
decided to hop into a local men's cat 3 crit. I cringed when I saw that
because, I mean, why take a chance? And sure enough she got taken down
hard and banged up her arm. She's one tough chick though, 'cause she
jumped right up and continued, and then later rode the 35+ race too.
Just thought you'd want to know...

Out of all the pro women I have met, and that is a fair number, Kim Anderson
has been the most friendly and congenial. She did a good job of helping
Christina Becker feel at home at Mclane, because the German girl didn't seem
to be able to muster any English, but Kim came to the rescue. During our
valley cluster classics, she was always polite and outgoing talking before
race. She's an excellent rider, during the Tour De l'Aude, I couldn't hardly
recognize her emaciated photos from the difficult Castelnaudary stage, but
she finished the tour. These photos tell the story.
