I actually did not want to pull another "double century" today because I'm hoping to ride 200 miles on Saturday and I'd like some easy days between now and then.
I "only" did 19 jobs today, but more "zone busters" (long runs) and more "double rushes" than yesterday. 45 miles, the most I've done on the job since I started measuring in May.
Before I got my GPS, I figured I rode 20 to 30 miles during a work day. In fact 30 to 40 is much closer to the mark.
I shared my PB&J with "Obama" a black squirrel who lives on the 1600 block of Pennsylvania Avenue. He's named after the Obama who lives across the street. I did not have time to finish my lunch.

The bent tow arm compared to the unbent unit it replaced. The bushings on the unbent one are shot, but I think I should use it as it is now in better shape than the new one.

I did not find time to replace the bent arm yet. You can see how off center my trailer is sitting now.

I got this load up to 23 mph. (Long downhill, Mass Ave from Observatory Circle.)
