How-to: replace derailleur hanger

I can talk you through it.

1. Remove derailleur (no need to remove cable or anything).
2. Unscrew bent hanger.
3. Screw on new hanger.
4. Put derailleur back on.

You missed a couple of steps...

-1. Put bike on a stand, or set it upside down on its handlebars and seat.
0. Remove rear wheel

you missed the part about making sure that one little screw thingy at the
back of the derailleur that's on a spring gets positioned properly when you
install the new one. And, make sure the new hanger matches the old one.

No way dude, that's not efficient. The same one who asks for
instructions can do the slapping, and the other one can read the
instructions to the first one while she's doing the holding. 🙂
