How to get RS Deluxe fixed?

and phone number you should possibly ever need. It's all under Tech support.

I'm pretty sure RS has a universal policy of no manufacturer repairs - only LBS-style dealers do
service. I'm not 100%, but like I said, I'm almost positive. Find out which shop near you is an
official licensed bonded insured amalgamated et cetera RS retailer and take your rear shock in.

Also, I'd like to be the first in this thread to point out that the only good RS is someone else's
RS. You know, because they suck.

Tim Flooks who runs tftunedshox use to be the official rockshock mechanic on the world cup circuit
what he does'nt know about rockshock isn't woth knowing.

Of course it won't help, if there are still parts for it they probably arn't in stock.

RockShox doesn't seem to deal direct.

If it's leaking oil, then it needs to serviced by someone who knows how to work on coils. Better
yet, replace it something else.

the $ to fix. Replace it is my opinion FWIW.

What would you recommend replacing it with? I also have a pro deluxe and the first time it goes I am
going to replace it as well.

It's going to be somewhat bike dependant, but if available, my first choice would be a Romic.

The other issue is what your looking for in a shock; ultimate pedaling efficiency or ultimate cushy
cushy. And no, you can't have both at the same time.

There is a lot more to consider other that just fit. Some shocks/bikes need a certain ammount of sag
to fit/work properly and some don't need any sag. I remember reading about this on a mountainbike
magazine forum. Best bet is to ask the frame maker if the shock you plan on using is compatable or
you may end up damaging your frame or new shock.
