Ah, well I've only got two but it's definitely not enough. I think I need:

brompton bigger folder - airnimal

And for each of the above you need one with gears, one singlespeed and one fixed. (I'm not sure any
existing folders could be converted to fixed so there is a gap in the market ... :-)

I suppose it's difficult to define what's mine & what's 'his'. I don't cycle now but we have:

1) A 1985 Cheltenham Pedersen (mine)
2) A 1991 Flying Scot, frame rebuilt following crash, he's now fixed it with flat bars &
dynamo lights
3) A 1995 Orbit Harrier he's now fixed it with flat bars & dynamo lights
4) Decathlon MTB bought in Morrocco after Airtours failed to deliver (2) on his holiday earlier this
year (his)
5) Fahrrad Manufaktur open frame city bike (his - weighs a ton)
6) Roma medical lightweight collapsible wheelchair (mine, damaged by bagage handlers & took
ages to fix)
7) Sunrise Medical battery powered 4 wheel Scoota (passed on by friend with MS who can't use it)

I have never understood this. Why do people's partners object to them buying more bikes ?(assuming

- el cheapo MTB
- Dawes Horizon ladies frame

Neither of these gets ridden any more,but I have a sentimental attachment to them(they were
presents from Himself).

- Greenspeed GTO - main vehicle, used for shopping, etc, also my race machine :-)

- Greenspeed GTS - commuting and utility
- Greenspeed GTX - fast weekend rides
- Greenspeed GLR - race machine

Ours

- Greenspeed tandem - not seen much use lately, but in theory used for touring holidays
- Brompton - also not much used of late, but both of us have used it at various points, in
conjunction with buses, to commute on.

We also have a KMX Kart and a Stein Viper on the premises which are demo machines for the business
(the Greenspeeds serve in this capacity too.)

Know the challenge - I currently have just 3 plus a spare frame

Casati Geo for sunshine and beautiful days on the road

Cooper for a runaround steel road bike plus holidays

Rocky Mountain Vertex for the rough stuff.

Ideally would like a track bike, a second MTB for vacations and a single speed - plus hmm a Colnago C40 as a treat.

However my better half keeps going and counting them and keeping them at alternative locations seems a little dodgy.

- commuter, (rack, mudguards and lights added. pedals, bars, saddle, tyres, upgraded)

The sprog's multiple ownership is unchallenged by my personal Ayatollahess but she finds my multiple
ownnership difficult to cope with despite the fact that three of the bikes cost the grand total of
£95, one of the them being free.

Of the four that I have;

1 Raleigh Equipe 12 speed road bike (free) 1 Raleigh unknown model 12 speed road bike (£25) 1
Ridgeback Adventurer hybrid 21 speed (£75 -unused by original owner) 1 Carrera 27 speed MTB

I wouldn't mind an upright tricycle but dare not raise the issue within earshot of aformentioned
keeper of the budget.

half, all things which the 8 won't do. But for shifting big loads locally, I don't see a trailer
being in the same ballpark for overall performance and user-friendliness.

Those couriers have definatly heard of trailers - I've seen them using BoBs. They may well of course
choose not to buy any more in future, I've no idea, but they do have some.
