I'm just always so impressed with that stuff!

I have no trouble with recall, sit, down, stay, and directional jump up
on the bed or chair when I snap my finger and point, or teaching the BC
to retrieve (which is taking a LOT of patience as she has a short
attention span!)... or to go into her house on command. I'm just not
sure how to "trick" train like that.

Chelsea learns pretty quickly.
I'm considering talking to some agility trainers to learn some new
techniques. I think that that would be good for the BC.

Me, too. But it's not the dogs that so impress me...I know what amazing
things they can do. What really impresses me is the patience, and time, some
human invested to get the dog to do that. I don't have the patience. I
admire those that do.

The people that train movie dogs, and cats, and grizzlies, and whales, and
[insert many others] are really amazing, patient, talented, people.

This isn't relevant to this thread, but I thought you dog owners would
want to hear the news about certain contaminated dog food brands
(Diamond, Country Value and Professional).

Diamond Pet Food Company issued a recall of 19 varieties of dog and
cat food on Dec. 21. Dogs may have been dying since Oct or Nov. This
news was on the radio this morning and a quick Google search turns up
Jan 8, 9, and 10 reports.
