How do riders prepare for the Tour de France, and what is their strategy for success?

So, what’s the deal with these riders and their so-called “preparation”? I mean, do they really think they can just roll out of bed, hop on their fancy carbon steeds, and tackle the Pyrenees? Like, does anyone actually believe that a few weekend jaunts and a smoothie bowl can prep you for the Tour?

And let’s talk about the whole “recovery” thing. Are they just downing recovery shakes and calling it a day? Do they have some magic potion that makes them bounce back after a brutal stage? Or is it just a lot of stretching and hoping for the best?

Then there’s the bike tech. Are they really fine-tuning their setups or just praying that their gear doesn’t blow up mid-race? You’d think they’d have it dialed in, but it seems like they’re just winging it half the time. So, what’s the real scoop? Are they just pretending to have it all figured out?

I don't think it's accurate to assume these pros are just winging it, they spend years honing specific skills and have highly structured training regimens.
