then go downhill rapidly either of their own accord or with help from the
wrong treatment. Eventually House diagnoses some arcane illness, administers
the correct treatment and off they all happily go. Except last week when the
patients radiation poisoning was too far gone. Even House can't win 'em all

"Most things you do get easier with practice. I can safely say that this is
an exception".

It's rare to see a semi-sympathetic objectionable [censored], and like Dr Chase, I
can't help loving him for it. It's my only must see TV programme at the
minute.

Absolutely, but seeing that as necessarily bad would be like
dismissing track cycling as dull becuase they just go around and
around the same bends time after time... The detail makes it more
fun, especially where it involves House being spectacularly rude to
various people.

I wasn't slagging off Columbo or House (I haven't seen the latter anyway to
pass an opinion). I used to love Columbo and his mannerisms - "I'm terribly
sorry to bother you again Sir, but the boys in the lab say that the gun
can't have possibly been fired by your brother".

Frank Cannon was a laugh as well. We were led to believe he was a judo black
belt and yet he would be puffing and wheezing from the short walk from his
Lincoln Continental to someone's front porch!

Apparently the casting director (or whatever they call themselves) whined
about the various attempts at accents by potential actors for the part and
wanted a "real genuine American". His reaction on seeing a video of Lawrie
was "See, that's exactly what I need, a true American!".

This could all be internet spread nonsense though...
