Yes. I had a big ol' mug of coffee in my second water bottle on today's
road (shhhhh!) ride. Doesn't stay hot or even warm very long, but the
caffeine and taste (sweetened and lightened) still work.

Gives new meaning to the term "road buzz"! (Hey, not bad.)

Sure, but it won't stay warm for long.........(If it's cold outside, which
would be the reason for the hot drink?)

A (small) thermos would be a better idea.

I'm with the others. Just watch out though - if it's real hot it can pop the
top open sometimes before it gets chance to cool down.

Shaun aRe - But beer is a no-no. Same goes for inside a 'bak...unless you
like foamy showers...

I sometines take a thermos out, It keeps hot things hot and cold things
cold. Last w/end I left the house with coffee and an icecream, couldn't
find the icecream though? Did any of you guys nick it?

The water bottle may get really soft while hot The lid can pop off when
you try to pull it from the cage, resulting in a hot sticky shower for
your hand (hmm, that sounds just ... um ... wrong). Anyway, wait till
it cools a bit first.
