Actually no, but I'm not a big tea or coffee drinker. One cup in the
morning, one after my nap, and that's it.

Agreed, but I don't retain my water very well. I don't mind pissing a
lot, but when I have to get up every 1 to 2 hours at night it
    interferes with my sleep.

My wife was considering going back to run the Bridge of Flowers 10k in
    Shelburne Falls MA.
I'm sincerely glad she decided against it, it would have sucked, even with
the shade in mile 3 which goes up Crtittenden Hill a mile long, 8% grade). I
would have jumped into the river at the two mile mark when you go back over
    the bridge.

I don't blame her, by 9:25 when I finally hit my trail, it was already
87 with 78% humidity. That's hotter than yesterday afternoon at 2pm
when I ran. That's downright dangerous to race in, and I barely
managed a 9 mpm pace for 6 miles. I wasn't hurting, and felt 9 was
possible, but I didn't want to drain myself or chance it. Luckily
there are a few water fountains where I run, so at 20 mins, and 40
    minutes I can get water.

looks interesting. Is it better than GA in extreme heat like this? I
didn't take in anything but water the last few days, but GA has served
me well when I do need it.

Well, it's not just "tea". The tea creates a wondrous variety of
flavored beverages far less boring than just water.

    Lemon, cranberry, cinnamon, etc.

I make solar tea a gallon at a time. It does not need to be sweetened,
but you can. I use Splenda.
