  1. Has anyone noticed the low fat and non fat milk being thick? I can't
remember it ever being thick before but it is now. I do not mean the
chocolate. And even though the nonfat is blue, it is still thick.
    Opinions please.

  2. Maybe there is an emulsifier in the ingredients.

I love carb ountdown milk, but have never tried the low-fat. It's the fats
in my diet that keep me from getting hungry and overeating!

  4. It's always been thicker than regular milk to me. Maybe you got some with a
little more carageenen and/or locust bean gum (the ingredients they use to
    thicken it) than usual.

  5. They don't make the homogenized anymore. Blame the low-fat brainwashing we
have all been subjected to for the last few decades.

  6. I thought it odd enough that I have called them and they want me to send the
carton to the factory. I honestly don't remember it being this thick, and I
have been drinking it for a good year.

Ah, I see. I haven't bought any in a while. You mean they don't sell the
"regular" fat Carb Countdown now, only the low-fat and non-fat? That's a s
    hame.

  8. I noticed that they didn't have it at the stores and looked at their website
and it isn't there either. I assume it just didn't sell.

I actually liked the 2% better than the "whole milk" version. The whole
milk was too creamy, the 2% was just right, and the 1/2% skim, tasted like,
    well, skim milk... YUCK!!!

However I have noticed that the Chocolate milk has gone from 1.75g carbs to
4g carbs per cup, and the Atkins approval symbol is gone off the label.
