Purchased by Northampton Cycling Club and they are attempted to get it
repaired and back in operation in Northampton MA. Web site is
    http://www.valleydrome.org.

I last heard it was being held hostage in a warehouse somewhere because VDV
    owed someone some cash

J.D. Bilodeau currnently has custody of it for NCC. The club is slowly
fundraising and doing repairs while they negotiate with the city for a site. As
far as I know there should be some new people coming on board with the track
project, one of whom is a financial professional, who have the time to really
get things rolling. Part of the reason for going slow was that for a while the
city was waiting to see how our Fair went and if they would be staying open. If
not they had been talking about siting the 'drome, a skatepark, and a bunch of
other stuff together there in a new activities park.
I'm not really involved with the track project other than as manual labor so
I'm not sure what the current status is.

Hey, Carl, do you live anywhere close to MA where it is and you can get
involved in developing a real program?

I'm about 100 miles from being equidistant between San Francisco and Boston.

Unfortunately I don't have time for a four hour ride, much less a four hour
drive each way to the track.
